Did you know NYT Dining & Wine has a recipe search? At the top of the far right column. You’d almost miss it. I can’t wait to try this recipe out. The ingredients look simple enough and the predicted cooking time is 15 minutes (I usually double or triple this for myself).
NYT also has a restaurant search (also, very hidden in the right hand column). But the Washingtonian’s restaurant search definitely still owns them. I’d even prefer Time Out New York’s restaurant search if it weren’t for NYT’s reviews. Goodbye, Frank Bruni. I’ll try to review your memoir after Julia’s, because, let’s face it, you had the best job in the world. WHY oh g— WHY would you ever retire? I would have continued eating and evaluating until I died at the ripe old age of 65 from deliciousness overload (literally). Okay, maybe not. But I’ll still be looking for tips on how to get your job when I read your memoir. Maybe I should start by studying some journalism.
