I tweeted that we ate “Heart, tendon, tripe, Szechuan peppercorns, dumplings, roast duck, hand-pulled noodles, chive pancakes.” Andrea texted to ask if we we were dining in the Temple of Doom. Ha!
* You may remember Bourdain’s pilgrimage to Xi’an Famous Foods in the Mall; they’ve just opened a spot in Chinatown and we had their otherworldly liang pi “cold skin” noodles and curried lamb noodles twice last week. So we skipped Xi’an this time.
I emailed T and told him I wanna go here for our anniversary.
